Who’d have thought that an open-air concert at the back of a semi-truck would turn into a festival with 5500 visitors and 13 bands in only 10 years? Surely not Felix, Julian and Simon, as they were organising the first edition of the Green Juice festival in 2008, wanting to offer bands from their city a place to play and show their energy/interact with their audience. (Have a peek at the festival's past editions here)
The Green Juice Festival, now running for an 11th edition on August 17th and 18th, fills the neighbourhood of Neu-Vilich in Bonn with sound every year.
Now lasting two days, it showcases the best of bands in indie, alternative and punk rock, joined by local DJs on a second stage to make the party last even longer.
Tickets are available starting at 23€ for one-day tickets and 35€ for two-days tickets available at bonnticket and at local ticket offices all over Germany (prices excluding ticket fees).
For those who came a long way, and those who just want to enjoy the full festival feeling Green Juice Festival offers a camping area a few minutes away from the festival site, available from 12:00am on Thursday the 16th to 12:00am on Sunday, the 19th for the small extra fee of 25€.
